A selection of recent work across logistics, retail, healthcare, education and events. Each one started as a manual or fragile process and ended as a system the client can rely on.

    Vehicle Shipment Quote Engine

    A quoting platform for a USA-to-Africa logistics company. It replaced a brittle CSV and functions.php setup with a namespaced OOP plugin: three relational tables, a clean abstraction layer and 15 AJAX endpoints with transient caching. It connects Gravity Forms, a transport REST API, Google Maps Geocoding, Zapier and WooCommerce checkout, and was later extended with VIN-based freight-API field mapping and a rebuilt shipping-ports transit table.

    Quote turnaround cut from about 24 hours to under 30 seconds.

    Luxury Retail Inventory Sync

    A two-phase encrypted inventory sync for a luxury watch retailer. The fetch phase signs each request with AES-256-CBC, pages through the full catalogue and upserts into a staging table with fingerprint-based change detection. The push phase creates and updates WooCommerce products with image sideloading and Yoast SEO data, behind a pricing gate that blocks dangerous underpricing. In production we also fixed a WP-Cron queue that never emptied and moved stock status to WooCommerce's own setter.

    About 2,000 SKUs kept up to date nightly; fingerprint diffing cut sync writes by about 90%.

    Healthcare Job Board Sync Engine

    A dual-feed sync for a US healthcare staffing company. It merges an OData REST feed and a SOAP/XML applicant-tracking feed into one WordPress post type with no duplicates, using a transformation layer that unpacks HTML-entity-encoded envelopes, DST-aware WP-Cron scheduling and incremental syncs between full re-imports. Later extended with a BrassRing feed on its own custom table and UTM-safe job filters.

    WooCommerce Subscriptions Pricing Engine

    Per-seat recurring pricing for an education platform, built on Gravity Forms and WooCommerce Subscriptions. The price is calculated from an enrolment field and applied across cart, checkout, subscription creation and renewal orders. We later fixed a recurring-price double count and coupons being cancelled by a late pricing override on the subscription line item.

  • Healthcare / Forms

    Patient Intake Integration

    A Gravity Forms and API patient intake plugin with dynamic document uploads, NPI field mapping, insurance image handling, conditional form sections and full API call logging. It handles protected health information carefully across two live intake forms, and every API request and response is searchable in an admin screen so support can debug without a developer.

    LearnDash Membership Dashboard

    A custom membership dashboard on a gated Divi page. Shortcodes render each logged-in member's LearnDash courses, progress and earned certificates, based on enrolment and completion. Extended with WooCommerce Memberships content-restriction filters and a thank-you message that links to the dashboard.

    Replaced four separate member pages with one dynamic, per-user dashboard.

    Event Ticketing & Booking Platform

    Built from scratch: an event ticketing and booking platform with custom booking logic, a payment flow and ticket generation. Delivered as project lead, from scoping and technical direction through launch.

    Launched on schedule with live bookings from day one.

    Laravel Portal to WordPress Bridge

    A Laravel management portal connected to a WordPress frontend through a secure REST API for a pet-care business. We also connected WordPress lead forms to Copper CRM through Zapier for another client.

    Double entry removed for the operations team; the CRM automation saves about three hours a week.

    OWASP Audit Remediation

    We triaged a third-party OWASP vulnerability report line by line into a prioritised plan, then implemented it: a Content-Security-Policy that allows only the site's real third-party scripts, HSTS, X-Frame-Options and X-Content-Type-Options headers, and CSRF nonces on the flagged forms.

    Each finding in the report checked against the new headers and nonce implementation.

  • Shopify / Subscriptions

    Recharge Subscription Add-to-Cart

    An AJAX add-to-cart flow for a multi-variant Shopify product (flavour, bag quantity, delivery frequency). It reads the live product's variant and selling-plan data and resolves the chosen variant and Recharge selling plan before submitting, following Recharge's own documentation.

    Part of wider Shopify work: Liquid sections, metafield-driven pricing and Admin GraphQL template updates.
